Create Emails for Your Financial Planning Practice that People Will WANT to Read

It's not uncommon for me to meet with a financial advisor who doesn't want to include email marketing in their overall marketing strategy.

This is often because they are traumatized by the spam they receive and don't want to irritate other people.

Valid concern.

And there is a LOT of bad email marketing out there in the financial services industry. So, it makes sense to not be one of them.

Here's how you can create emails that people will WANT to read and forward to others:

1️⃣ Know Your Audience: Take the time to understand your audience's interests, preferences, and pain points. When you know what makes them tick, you can tailor your content to resonate with their needs and desires! 🎯

2️⃣ Be Valuable: Your emails should offer real value to your subscribers. Whether it's helpful tips, insider insights, or exclusive offers, make sure your content is something they can't resist! 🎁

3️⃣ Be Human: Inject some personality into your emails! 🤗 Share stories, behind-the-scenes peeks, and fun anecdotes that showcase the human side of your brand. After all, people connect with people, not robots!

4️⃣ Keep it Visual: A picture is worth a thousand words, right? 📸 Sprinkle some eye-catching visuals throughout your emails to break up the text and grab attention. Just remember to keep them relevant and on-brand! 👀

5️⃣ Keep it Concise: Ain't nobody got time for a novel-length email! ✉️ Keep your content clear, concise, and to the point. Use short paragraphs, bullet points, and subheadings to make it easy for readers to digest your message. ✔️

6️⃣ Encourage Interaction: Don't be shy – encourage your subscribers to engage with your emails! 🙌 Include calls-to-action (CTAs) that invite them to reply, click, share, or comment. The more interaction, the merrier!

Remember, creating email marketing that people actually want to read is all about putting your audience first.
